Rescue. Educate. Outreach. Adopt. Furever.

We are sorry that you are facing the decision to surrender your dog.

PINC receives an overwhelming number of requests each week to help re-home dogs from families just like yours, and are only able to help a small portion.

Because of our process, we are not an organization that can move quickly to intake a dog.  We are rarely in a position to help in last minute or “urgent” situation. Our foster homes are continually at capacity and we have an active waiting list. We do not board dogs while we wait for a foster space to open up.

In order for a dog to be accepted into our program, it must be temperament tested by a member of our team or an approved volunteer and have a favorable score. For owner surrenders you must live in the Union County area, if you're not in our area you can contact us and we can recommend local resources to you. We cannot take in dogs that have bitten someone. We also have limited fosters that can house and train dogs with behavioral issues. Once a dog is approved, they may have to wait until we have available foster space.

If you are interested in surrendering a dog to our program please complete our Owner Surrender Form
. Be advised that completing the paperwork does not guarantee your dog a place in our program.

If you are able to take care of the dog and would like help promoting it for adoption and tips to help re-home a dog responsibly please email with the title "Courtesy Listing".

**Please note that all Courtesy Listings need to be altered (spayed or neutered) and be current on vaccinations and rabies. Please include a description of the dogs needs in a forever home and 3-5 clear pictures of the dog. **
